I'm Jayde, a South African-born fantasy author who grew up in the United States and now calls the West Coast home, where I live with my husband and our beautiful son.

I've always found myself drawn to books that transport you somewhere extraordinary. From ancient myths and magical kingdoms to unforgettable heroes and heroines, fantasy has always been my favorite escape. Those stories inspired me to create worlds of my own, and eventually led me to write my debut novel, Moonstone Heir, the first book in my A Crown of Stone and Shadow trilogy.

Writing this series has been an incredible journey. Bringing Rhaelan, Aurelia, and the world of Elaris to life has allowed me to combine everything I love about fantasy: fae realms, ancient magic, epic adventures, and a romance that grows through courage, trust, and sacrifice.

When I'm not writing, you'll usually find me spending time with my family, reading, or dreaming up new stories and worlds waiting to be explored.
